This is the Cresco Station Museum, located on route 390 and Sand Springs road in Cresco, Monroe Co., Pennsylvania. The building is owned by the Weiler Family Foundation and used by the Barrett Township Historical Society as a museum. We have a Civil War disp

About the Barrett Township Historical Soc.

We are a small rural society with about 140 members of which about 25 are active members. We are currently working on a web site and hope to have it done by the end of the year.

Programs and Services

We will help anyone doing local or genealogical research. We have the census of Barrett Township for the years 1860 thru 1930 indexed and in notebooks. We also have cemetery and other records, also some genealogies. Our research group is constantly working to bring other local records to our society.

Showcases

Our museum and the Civil War display that we have. We also have a civil war era rifle, that was used by a confederate soldier. In our museum is a copy of a civil war era uniform. This was used in a Civil War movie.
