Montour County Historical Society
The Montgomery House, built by General William Montgomery in 1792 is the home of the MCHS. A descendant of the Montgomerys lived in the oldest house in Danville until the 1940's. The BPOE 754, Danville's Elks Club purchased the home to save it from destruction
