Located on West Fourth Street in the midst of 'Millionaire's Row', the Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society welcomes visitors year-round for an exploration of the history, culture and heritage of north central Pennsylvania.

The Lycoming County Historical Society explores the history of north central Pennsylvania with exhibits pertaining to American Indian culture, early settlement, the canal, the logging and logging industry, the development of Williamsport's 'Millionaire's Row', and the vibrancy of the 19th and 20th centuries. Permanent exhibits including a fine arts gallery, American Indian culture, displays concerning firefighting, early government, and the musical heritage of Lycoming County as well as period rooms depicting a Greek Revival parlor in Jersey Shore and a Victorian parlor on Millionaire's Row, a re-creation of the Ralston (PA.) The Lycoming County Historical Society has recently reinstalled its permanent military installation, 'Voices from Home, Voices from the Field'. This exhibit pays tribute to the native sons and daughters who participated in the Revolutionary War through the conflicts of the 20th century.
