2012 Civil War Preservation Ball

9th Annual Civil War Preservation Ball in the rotunda of the Pennsylvania Capitol Building to support the Gettysburg Monuments Project’s Endowment Trust Fund. Music will be by the Philadelphia Brigade Band and dance instruction by the Victorian Dance Ensemble, the performing troupe of the Civil War Dance Foundation. Light refreshments will be provided. Period attire is encouraged or modern suits and ties for gentlemen and dresses for ladies (flat shoes are recommended due to the uneven historic tile surface in the Capitol). Ticket sales are limited to 120. No tickets will be sold at the door. Cost: $35 per person or $60 per couple. Get ready for the ball with FREE Dance Classes at the National Civil War Museum in Harrisburg, Pa., 2-4PM, Sundays, January 15, February 19 and March 4.
