About the Clinton County Historical Society
The Clinton County Historical Society is organized to maintain a museum for collecting, preserving and interpreting records and artifacts significant to the history of Clinton County. The CCHS encourages research into local history, recommends the preservation of historical structures and sites, presents educational programs through schools throughout the county, by free seminars and lectures to the public.

The museum contains various guns and swords from the Civil War, plus a document signed by Lincoln. There is a desk owned by Phaon Jarrett of the 11th PA Regiment.
